Reflections from the Adopt AI – Grand Palais 2025 (25–26 November)
This week, we had the chance to join 20,000 participants at Europe’s biggest AI event in Paris: Adopt AI – Grand Palais 2025. The event stood out not only for its scale, but also for the depth of conversations on how AI is reshaping our societies, businesses, and everyday work.
A few key takeaways that stayed with us:
AI is not plug-and-play. Successful adoption requires learning, governance, process redesign, and a clear organizational strategy.
Main risks remain significant — from the future of jobs and education to threats to democracy and misinformation.
Individual adoption outpaces corporate adoption. People are embracing AI in their personal lives and through “shadow AI” — often faster than companies can keep up.
Leadership matters. Strong, committed leaders must ensure reskilling, literacy, and support for people whose roles will evolve due to AI.
End-to-end design is critical. There is no silver bullet — we learn, adapt, and iterate.
AI is a CEO & Board agenda, not an IT agenda.
Human-centrism is non-negotiable.
Overall, the message was clear:
AI should not replace what we have — it should augment who we are. The real competition will be between those who know how to use and govern AI and those who do not.
